Number Crochet 4

 

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. I am planning to do number crochet series. Planning to do 0 to 9. Let's start crocheting number 4, which is easy indeed. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch-chain

slst- slipstitch

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

hook: 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot , followed by ch 15.

Step 2 : 1 DC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : 1 DC on each of the next 13 chains.

Step 4 : Now flip the project.

Step 5 : Slipstitch on the 1st stitch.

Step 6 : 1 SC on the next stitch.

Step 7 : 1 HDC on the next stitch.

Step 8 : Now we need to do DC Foundation stitch. Yarn over, insert in same space, yarn over, pull                       through. You will have 3 loops, yarn over & pull through 1st loop alone. Now do DC as usual.

Step 9 : Repeat step 8 , four more times.

Step 10 : 4 DCs in the same space.

Step 11 :  Now do 3 DC Foundation stitch.

Step 12 : Count the 6th stitch from the point. Slipstitch in that position.

Step 13 : Keep slipstitching thrice in that row.

Step 14 : ch 4. 1 DC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 15 : 1 DC on the last chain. Slipstitch thrice & slipstitch the joining part.

Step 16 :  Number 4 is ready!!!
