Arabic Crochet Ta & Dha Crochet

 

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum, today we will see alphabet Ta & Dha crochet. I love doing arabic letters. So hope you all too enjoy crocheting as I do.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

SC2Tog - Single Crochet 2 Together

DC2Tog - Double Crochet 2 Together

hook: 3 mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 :  Slipknot, followed by chain 26.

Step 2 : slst on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : 1 SC on each of the next 5 chains.

Step 4 : Stitch mark in that position.

Step 5 : 1 SC on each of the next 8 chains.

Step 6 : 2 SCs in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 7 : 1 SC in each of the next 8 chains.

Step 8 : slst to the stitch marked position. 

Step 9 : chain 12.

Step 10 : 1 SC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 11 : 1 SC on each of the next remaining chains.

Step 12 : slst on the stitch marked position.

Step 13 : slst on the next stitch too.

Step 14 : Chain 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 15 : For alphabet Dha, nukhtha already available.

Step 16 : Arabic alaphabet Ta & Dha are done!!!
