Rakhi Crochet

 


Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. Today we will see a very simple Rakhi, woolen bracelet. It's a very simple bracelet crochet. It's for Raksha Bandhan. Let's get into the making of this project.


Crochet terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 3 mm & 0.90 mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 4.

Step 2 : Slst to the 1st chain to form a circle.

Step 3 : chain 2 ( Considered as 1st DC ) .

Step 4 : Pattern : (1 DC, chain 1)* 8 times, till end of row.

Step 5 : slst to the 2nd chain of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 6 : Pattern : ( ch 2. yarn over and pull through 5 times, yarn over and pull through once, ch3 and slst in the same space)*in ch 1 space

Step 7 : slst in the next ch 1 space, repeat step 6.

Step 8 : Repeat step 6 and 7 , in each  of 8 spaces.

Step 9 : slst and cut off yarn and sew.

Step 10 : For bands, slipknot, followed by chain 25. chain depends on your preferred size.

Step 11 : slst to one side of the stitch, and continue doing slst on each of the chains till end of row.

Step 12 : slst in mid and cut off yarn.

Step 13 : Now add beads of your choice.

Step 14 : Tadaaa!! your rakhi crochet is ready!
