Alphabet Y Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. How are you all? I am doing good. I actually lost track in doing the alphabets , as its Christmas time. As one of our subscriber family requested it, came up to do it one by one. So today I resumed to do Alphabet Y. I have a series list of alphabets too.

So let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm 

 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 14.

Step 2 : 1 DC on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : continue doing 1 DC on the next 5 chains.

Step 4 : 5 DCs on the next same chain.

Step 5 : 1 DC on each of the remaining 6 chains.

Step 6 : slst on the sides, ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew.

Step 7 : add yarn into the 8th stitch from start.

Step 8 : ch 1, add ch 9.

Step 9 : 1 DC on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 10 : 1 DC on each of the remaining chains.

Step 11 : skip 1 stitch And slst on the next stitch.

Step 12 : slst in the mid too.

Step 13 : ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew.

Step 14 : Alphabet Y is ready!!!!
