Dishcloth crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will do a very very simple crochet,dishcloth crochet. This one, was asked by my daughter for her play kitchen. So did a small version. 

So without further delay, let's get into the project!!!

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 5mm(but I used 3.5mm)

Things needed:

1.Cotton Yarn

2.Darning Needle

3.Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 26. Increase chains depending on your need.

Step 2 : R1 : Pattern : 1 SC in each chain's back bump only till end of row.

Step 3 : ch 1 and turn.

Step 4 : R2-R25 : Pattern: 1 SC in each till end of row. ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 : Border:  ch 2 ,1 SC in the same space, 1 SC in each till end of row.

Step 6 : Repeat step 5 for other 3 sides as border.

Step 7 : ch 11 , slst, ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 8 : Your super cute Dishcloth is ready!!!!
