Yemen Flag Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today I want to add another flag crochet to the list, its YEMEN. This flag is quite easy too. The flag has three horizontal strips.Red stands for unity and bloodshed of martyrs, white stands for bright future and black stands for the dark days of the past.

So without further delay, let's get into the project!!!

Print this Pattern

 

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 3mm 

Things needed:

1. Yarn(Red,White,Black)

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1: Black : Slipknot, followed by ch 12

Step 2 : R1 : 1 Sc on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : 1 Sc on each till end of row.

Step 4 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 :R2: 1 Sc in each till end of row.

Step 6 : Repeat steps 4 & 5 once.

Step 7 : Now change to white.

Step 8 : Repeat step 6, thrice.

Step 9 : Now change to red.

Step 10 :Repeat step 8.

Step 11 : ch 1, cut off and sew ends.

Step 12 : Your Yemen flag is ready!!!!
