Crochet Car Tissue Box Holder

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Thistissue box coverI made for my hubby's car, as he usually keeps in his dashboard. Each and every time if someone asks, it was quite annoying to open & close. So planned to make him one.Hope you like it too.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

 

Crochet Terminology:


sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 

Things needed:


1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Button

 

Hook : 
3.5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 52.
Step 2 : slst to the 1st ch to form a loop. 
Step 3 : 1 Dc, 5 Dcs in the next same ch, 1 Dc on the next 22 chs, 5 Dcs on the next same ch, 1 Dc on the next 2 chs, 5 Dcs on the next same chain, 1 Dc on the next 22 chs, 5 Dcs on the next same ch, 1 Dc on the next ch. Slst.
Step 4 : on each 3rd st of the 5 Dcs, do 5 Dcs, 1 Dc on the remaining Dcs. Repeat for 3 more rows. Tot 5 rows.
Step 5 : Repeat step 4 with hdc for 1 row.
Step 6: 1 Dc on the back loop only & on the 5 Dcs st of previous row, do Dc5Tog on each corner.
Step 7 :1 Dc on each for 6 more rows.
Step 8 : Sew a button one side & on other side, do 1 Dc on each of the 8 sts, for 20 rows.
Step 9 : 1 Sc on the 4 sts, ch 4, 1 Sc on same stitch and thennb1 sc on the remaining sts.
Step 10 : ch 1 & turn. Do 1 Sc on each sts.
Step 11 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.
Step 12 :  Your box cover ready!!!!
