Simple Heart Pouch/Bag charm crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very simple and easy pouch cum bag charm crochet. As its valentine, thought to do with a heart shape. I have already done a heart shape in my channel. In this , I have used the same pattern and made little changes. So let's get in and do the crochet. It's easy to make and as its time for this month, make this and surprise your loved ones.

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook: 4.5mm

  Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic ring.

Step 2 : ch 3, considered as 1st DC.

Step 3 : 14 more DCs. Total 15 DCs.

Step 4 : Pull the tail end & slst to the 3rd chain of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 5 : Chain 3 , considered as 1st DC.

Step 6 : 1 DC in the same space.

Step 7 : 2 Trs each in next 2 stitches.

Step 8 : 2 DCs in the next stitch.

Step 9 : 1 HDC each in next 3 stitches.

Step 10 : Now do 1 DC, 1 Tr, 1 DC for the pointy part.

Step 11 : Repeat steps9,8,7,6 & 5.(Reverse pattern)

Step 12 : Do reverse slst to add a border.

Step 13 : Cut off yarn & sew.

Step 14 : One Heart is ready. Repeat steps1 to 13 one more time.

Step 15 : 1 Sc each together. When you reach the pointy end do 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 Sc in the same stitch.

Step 16 : continue 1 SC in each till you reach half way.

Step 17 : Make 6 chains in the heart starting and slst like hanging.

Step 18 : Same way do 33 chains in the other and slst in the same position.

Step 19 : Now it's ready for use.

Step 20 : Add as charm or just use as pouch!!!
