Customized Bookmark crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. How are you all? How was your Eid? Hope you have enjoyed well. This was a customized order. Very easy bookmark too. You can make it in an hour.

Without delay, let's get started.

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : slipknot, followed by chain 8.

Step 2 :1 Sc on the 2nd ch from the hook. Continue doing 1 SC on the remaining chains.

Step 3 : continue doing 1 DC in each row for the height needed.

 

Step 4 : Now for the other side, do 1 DC on the back loop for one row, as it will make a bend.

Step 5 : continue making 1 DC one each row, so that you reach the opposite side height.

Step 6 : Place the thin bookmark strip present in the book and glue it.

Step 7 : Continue doing SC on the sides for attaching.

 

Step 8 : For the end, do 5 DCs in the 3rd stitch, ch 3, 5 DCs in the next stitch. Slst at the 7th stitch.

Step 9 : Add tassels in the ch 3 space.

Step 10 : Add customized details of name with yarn & needle.

Step 11 : Your super easy Bookmark is ready!!!
