Morocco Flag crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum.How are you all? Hope all are doing good. I am good too. And as most of them might be watching the Fifa World Cup 2022-Qatar, so as I, was interested in doing the flag of Morocco. And it was quite easy to make to. The only thing is in making the start come out perfect. Hope I did justice to it in making the star. 

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3.5mm

Written Pattern:

 Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 21.

Step 2 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : Continue 1 SC on each chain till end of row.

Step 4 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 : Repeat steps 3 to 4 , for 18 more rows.

Step 6 : Once done, ch 1 & cut off yarn & sew them.

Step 7 : Now the mid star part.

Step 8 : insert hook in the 7th stitch on 6th row.

Step 9 : slipknot and continue doing slst in a slanting position till the 14th row 10th stitch.

Step 10 : again continue slst till u reach 6th row 13th stitch.

Step 11 : continue slst till u reach 11th row 7th stitch.

Step 12 : continue slst till u reach same row, 13th stitch.

Step 13 : now at last continue slst till u reach 6th row 7th stitch.

Step 14 : the star is done. If you feel it difficult, please watch the video for clarity.

Step 15 : Cut off yarn & sew.

Step 16 : Your Morocco flag is done!!!
