Alphabet R Crochet

 


Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. I am planning to do alphabet crochet series. Planning to do A to Z. Let's start  alphabet R, which is easy indeed. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 36.

Step 2 : 1 DC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : Now 1 DC on each of the next 11 chains.

Step 4 : Now we will do Double Crochet 5 stitches together.

Step 5 : 1 DC in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 6 : Now DC 2 chains together 6 times.

Step 7 : 1 DC in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 8 : Now we need to join, slipstitch on the 4th stitch.

Step 9 : This forms alphabet P.
 
Step 10 :  do 1 Sc in next stitch, 1 HDC in next and 1 Dc in the next.

Step 11 : chain 7.

Step 12 : 1 DC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 13 : Continue doing 1 DC on each chain.

Step 14 : slst to the 2nd stitch.

Step 15 : cut off yarn & sew.

Step 16 : Alphabet R is ready!!!
