Arabic Alphabet Saad & Daad Crochet

 



 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum, welcome back to my blog. Today we will see Saad & Daad crochet.Hope my explanation turns out easy. Presenting you in step by step method.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

SC2Tog - Single Crochet 2 Together

DC2Tog - Double Crochet 2 Together

hook: 3 mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 20.

Step 2 : slst on the 2nd chain from hook. Put a stitch marker.

Step 3 : 1 SC on each of the next 8 chains.

Step 4 : 2 SCs on each of the next 3 chains.

Step 5 : 1 SC on each of the next 7 chains.

Step 6 : slst to the next stitch of stitch marked position.

Step 7 : chain 4.

Step 8 : 1 slst on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 9 : continue doing 1 slst on the remaining 2 chains.

Step 10 : 1 SC to the bottom stitch to join.\

step 11 : chain 22.

Step 12 : 1 slst on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 13 : 1 SC on each stitch till you reach the last 4th chain.

Step 14 : 1 slst on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 15 : 1 SC on each of the next 2 chains.

Step 16 : slst to join.

Step 17 : slst on the stitch marked position, as well to the next position.

Step 18 ; Chain 1.

Step 19: Cut off yarn & sew. Saad is done. For daad, nukhta is already available.

Step 20 : Alphabets Saad and Daad are done.
