Hair Bun Cover Crochet

 

Hi friends,assalamu alaikkum. Today too we will see a simple and easy hair bun cover crochet. Its easy to make, if you are familiar with the basic crochet stitches.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1: Slipknot , followed by chain 3 

Step 2 : slst , to the 1st chain to form a loop

Step 3 : R1:Ch 2 

Step 4 : 12 DCS in that circle

Step 5 : slst to the 1st DC

Step 6 : R2: Patt(( ch 5, skip 1  stitch & slst to the next stitch), till end of row.

Step 7 : slst

Step 8 : R3: Patt: ((2 DCs, 1 TR, 2 DCs) in space, ch 3)* 6 times.

Step 10 : slst.

Step 11 ; R4: slst until you reach the ch 3 space.

Step 13 : slst once in ch 3 space.

Step 14 : slst.

Step 15 : R5: Patt: 3 DCs in ch 1 space, 2 DCs in ch 2 space, ch 2 in between.

Step 16 : slst.

Step 17 : R6  : slst till ch 2 space.

Step 18 : Patt: 2 Dcs, ch 2, 2 DCs,.. till end of row.

Step 19 : slst.

Step 20 : Repeat steps 18-19, until you reach the no.of rows needed. It depends on ur hair. It took 4 rows for me.

Step 21 : Once done, you can use hair tie or elastic & Sc around it.

Step 22 : slst, chain 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 23 : Your Bun Cover is ready !!!
