Hair Donut Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very easy and simple hair accessory. This is a simple donut, which I did for my friend. Her hair was quite thick and this fit perfect for her. I did this in 2 methods, one with hair tie and another without. So whoever wishes to do this, please give it a try.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 4mm

Written Pattern:

1st Method:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by 25 chains. You can add chains as per your choice. This turned out to be a very small one. It was perfect for my little one.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st ch and keep in mind that the loop doesn't get twisted. (You can also work in rows of 1 HDC in each without slipstitching. Do 21 rows. fold in half and sew together).

Step 3 : 1 HDC in each ch  till end of row. slst at end.

Step 4 : Repeat step 3 for 20 more rows.

Step 5 : ch 1, cut off a little lengthy yarn , roll it and sew the ends.

Step 6 : This I made for my little one, so it is a small Donut bun .

2nd Method:

Step 1 : slipknot, slst with a hair tie.

Step 2 : 1 HDC around the hair tie. Slst.

Step 3 : ch 2.

Step 4 : 1 DC in each till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 5 : Repeat step 4 for 15 more rows.

Step 6 : ch  1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 7 : Pull inside out and roll it.

Step 8 : Your hair donut is ready!!!!
