Crown Crochet

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. This crown is something I wished to do for my daughter. As her birthday was around the corner. I thought to add it as a surprise.

I made her wear it on her birthday and she was like jumping in joy. as a mom what else would I expect.
Today we will see a crown crochet. It would be so beautiful to wear. So let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

Written pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot , followed by chains. The chains depends on the size you need. For me it took 84              chains.

Step 2 : Now slst to the 1st chains. But keep in mind, that you keep the chains straight while doing                 slipstitching.

Step 3 : Now chain 3.

Step 4 : 1 DC in each chain , till end of row.

Step 5 : Slipstitch to the 3rd chains of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 6 : Chain 3.

Step 7 : Repeat steps 4 & 5, once.

Step 8 : Now chain 1.

Step 9 : 1 SC in each of the next 5 stitches.

Step 10 : Now skip 2 stitches & do 3 DCs in the 3rd stitch.

Step 11 : chain 4 & do 3 DCs in the same stitch.

Step 12 : Skip 2 stitches & do 1 SC in the 3rd stitch.
