Basket crochet with wooden base

 Hi friends assalamu alaikkum. This is a very simple and easy crochet and a fun project. A simple basket with wooden base. You can use either 3/4/5 strands of yarn. I used 5 strands in this.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. 4/5 Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Wooden Base

hook : 

5 mm

 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Add yarn to wooden base.

Step 2 : R 1: 1 Sc in each space, ch 2 in the middle. Slst at end.

Step 3 : R2 : 1 Sc on each stitch. Slst at end.

Step 4 : R3 : 1 Sc on each stitch. Slst at end.

Step 5 : R4-7 : 1 Dc on each stitch. Slst at end.

Step 6 : R8 : 1 Sc on each. Slst at end.

Step 7 : R9 : add ch 8 on each half, skip 4 stitches & slst at 5th st.

Step 8 : R10 : 1 Sc on each till end & slst at end.

Step 9 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 10 : Basket is ready!!!
