Butterfly Crochet



Hi friends, welcome back to another blog. In this I will be sharing the Butterfly Crochet pattern. You can add this in any of your projects. Its a very simple pattern. Let's dive in.


Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
 tr- treble crochet 
ch- chain

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 6.

Step 2 : Slipstitch to the 1st chain to form a circle.

Step 3 : Row 1 : ch 3, considered as 1st DC.

Step 4 : Now do 1 DC, followed by ch 2.

Step 5 : Now 2 DCs, followed by ch 2.

Step 6 : We need a set of (2 DCs, ch 2) * 8 times. Already 2 sets done. Do 6 more.

Step 7 : Slipstitch on the 3rd ch of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 8 : Row 2 : chain 2.

Step 9 : 6 DCs in the 2 chain space.

Step 10 : Now do 1 SC in between the 2 DCs.

Step 11 : Continue Steps 9 & 10, till end of row 2.

Step 12 : Slipstitch to the 1st ch of the starting ch 2.

Step 13 : Cut off yarn.

Step 14 : Let's add border.

Step 15 : Connect the yarn in the place we slipstitched. Followed by ch 1

Step 16 : Now 1 SC over each stitch, till end of row.

Step 17 : Now ch 12.

Step 18 : Wrap the chain in the middle & slipstitch to the bottom part.

Step 19. Add a string of yarn & add beads on either side.

Step 20 : Butterfly Crochet Ready!!!
