Hi friends, welcome to my blog. I am Luthfun, youtuber. I started my channel , The JCrochet Gal, on September 9th 2019. I was too passionate in learning crochet. To be honest, I started learning just a year before I started this channel. By then, I had done few home organizations.

 My hubby supported me a lot. I started buying hooks one by one as a beginner. Then one day, I asked him , if he could order for me a crochet hook set. And to my surprise, he made it happen through Amazon.

I received it after a month. Then he motivated me to move on to the next step. And that's how I started this channel, The JCrochet Gal. My daughter selected this channel name.

And this video was the first one I did. Actually I was too nervous when I started shooting this video. The video wasn't shot that perfect though. Using a lazy stand I shot the video. I was actually doing for my personal home decor. Suddenly, I felt like, hey why don't I share it in YouTube, which might help me out in future too. That spark carried me to do this video. So let me narrate you the way I did. Hope it turns out to be helpful. As it was first video, I made few mistakes. Please apologize. An easy Rose crochet as home decor.


Crochet Terminology:

CH - chain 

SC- single crochet 

DC- double crochet 

slst - slipstitch

hook: 5.0 mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1: Slipknot, followed by ch 66.

Step 2 : Row 1: skip 5 chains & 1 DC in the 6th chain from the hook.

Step 3 : Skip the next 2 chains & do 1 DC, ch2 and 1 DC in the same chain.

Step 4 : Continue Step 3 , till end of row.

Step 5 : Chain 3 & turn the project.

Step 6 : Row 2: 1 DC in the V space, followed by chain 3 and 2 DCs.

Step 7 : (2 DCs, ch3, 2 DCs) in the next V space.

Step 8 : Continue Step 7 till end of row.

Step 9 ; ch 1 & turn the project.

Step 10 : Row 3 : 7 DCs in that V space.

Step 11 : 1 SC in the very next hole.

Step 12 : Continue doing Step 10 & Step 11, till end of row.

Step 13 : Ch 1 & cut off yarn.

Step 14 : Now roll from the other end & sew using the needle.

Step 15 : Use a green stick for stem & glue it with the flower.

Step 16 : Flower Crochet Done!!!

The flower vase was done by me, using popsicle stick. It was quite easy to make.

I placed 3 popsicles in a triangle shape. Then kept layering until it forms the shape i desired by decreasing & then increasing. Finally after these flowers were done, I decorated them.
