Christmas Tree Crochet

 

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. I made it as a home decor for christmas.

I love doing home decorations. When it comes to crocheting, I just can't wait to do. So kick started right away. The end result was awesome.

Today we will see simple christmas tree. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
hdc- half double crochet
slst- slip stitch

hook: 3.5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic ring. 4 SCs in that ring.

Step 2 : Slst to the 1st SC.

Step 3 : ch 3, Row 1 :  2 DCs in each, till end of row. Slst.

Step 4 : ch 3 ,Row 2 : 1 DC, 2 DCs, 1 Dc, 2 DCs,.. till end of row. Slst.

Step 5 : ch 3, Row 3 : 1 DC in each till end of row.

Step 6 : ch 3, Row 4 : 1 DC, 1 DC, 2 DCs,... till end of row, slst.

Step 7 : ch 3, Row 5 : 1 DC,1 DC, 1 DC, 2 DCs,... till end of row, slst.

Step 8 : Do 2 more rows in such increase pattern.

Step 9 : 1 SC in the back loop stitch. As we are trying to close the back part of tree. Slst

Step 10 : 1 Dc in each of the stitch till end of row & slst.

Step 11 : Now do Sc2Tog, till end of row. Add stuffing & continue crocheting, till it closes.

Step 12 : Now decorate the tree as you like. Tree is ready!!!
