Simple Handbag Crochet

 

Hi friends welcome back to my blog. In my channel, The JCrochet Gal, I made this during Halloween. 

My daughter wanted a simple bag to carry around. So tried this very simple and basic version bag. Its all of the basic crochet stitches.

Today we will see a simple handbag crochet. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 50.

Step 2 : Slst to the 1st chain.

Step 3 : Pattern R 1  : 1 SC in each , till end of row.

                          R2-R9 : 1 HDC in each, till end of row.

                          R 10 : 1 SC in each, till end of row.

Step 4 : Repeat the step 3 for another color.

Step 5 : Chain for the handle , as much you need. Slst to other end. Add decorations.

Step 6 : Bag ready!!!
