Wind Spinner Crochet

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. Today, a project which is trending and viral, it's in our channel too, YES!!! it's the WIND SPINNER CROCHET. Hurray!!! It was really super fun to make. But before starting, we need to keep few things in mind.

1. The yarn(s) you are going to use, should be quite lengthy. If using different colors for each rows, each row consumes more yarn than the previous one.

2. Chain as many chains you want. You can go for a maximum of 100 !!!

3. You can go creative.

4. Keep the tension same throughout the project.

5. If you know the basic stitches ( Chain, Slipstitch, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet ), you are ready to go with this jolly project.

So let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 5 mm & 4 mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 33.

Step 2 : 1 SC on the 2nd chain from the hook.

Step 3 : Keep doing 1 SC on each of the chains till end of row.

Step 4 : Chain 1 and turn the project.

Step 5 : Now do 2 HDCs on each of the stitches.

Step 6 : Keep doing 2 HDCs in each till end of row.

Step 7 : Chain 1 and turn the project.

Step 8 : Now do ( 3 HDCs , ch 1 )on each stitch till end of row. While on last stitch just do 1 HDC.

Step 9 : Chain 1 and cut off yarn.

Step 10 : Add a border, with a contrasting color.

Step 11 ; 1 Sc on each stitch. In the chain 1 space do (slst, ch3,slst on the 1st chain, slst in the same space).

Step 12 : Repeat step 11 till end of row.

Step 13 : Cut off yarn and sew the ends.

Step 14 : Add a string of yarn at the top and bottom.

Step 15 : Add flowers and glue them back to back. Add beads.
