Mystical Lantern Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum , welcome to my blog. Today we will see mystical lantern as Ramadan is round the corner.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

SC2Tog - Single Crochet 2 Together

DC2Tog - Double Crochet 2 Together

hook: 4 mm

Written Pattern:

 Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chain 5.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st chain.

Step 3 : ch 3 , considered as 1st DC.

Step 4 : 2 DCs in that space. Total 3 DCs

Step 5 :  ch 2.

Step 6 : Repeat steps 4 to 5... 5 more times.

Step 7 : slst to the 3rd chain of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 8 : slst to reach the ch 2 space. ch 3 , considered as 1st DC.

Step 9 :  2 DCs in that space. Total 3 DCs.

Step 10 :  ch 3 

Step 11 : 3 DCs in that space.

Step 12 : Repeat steps  9 to 11 in each ch 2 space.

Step 13 : slst to the 3rd chain of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 14 : slst to reach the ch 3 space. ch 3 , considered as 1st DC

Step 15 : 2 more DCs. Total 3 DCs.

Step 16 : chain 6. 1 Dc on the 5th chain from hook another 1 DC on the 6th chain from hook.

Step 17 : 3 DCs on the same space.

Step 18 : 3 DCs on the next space.

Step 19 : 5 DCs on the corner space.

Step 20 : 3 DCs on the next space.

Step 21 : 5 DCs on the corner space.

Step 22 : 3 DCs on the next space.

Step 23 : Repeat steps15 to 22 once.

Step 24 : slst .

Step 25 : 1 Sc on each stitch.

Step 26 : if u want a hanging, chain 6, slst to the same space .

Step 27 : slst at end.

Step 28 : mystical lantern is ready!!!
