Simple Lantern Crochet

 

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a very simple but easy Simple lantern. I have already posted Mystical Lantern, Lantern Keychain & a 2D lantern. Here's a very simple and easy one. Let's hop in dears.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 10.

Step 2 : 1 SC on the 2nd chain from hook.

Step 3 : continue doing 1 SC on each till end of row.

Step 4 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 : slst to the 2nd stitch, continue doing 1 SC in each, slst in the last.

Step 6 : Repeat step 4 & 5 one more time.

Step 7 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 8 : now do 2 SCs in the first and last stitch, 1 SC in the mid stitches.

Step 9 : Do 1 SC in the next row.

Step 10 : Repeat steps 7 to 9 for 3 more times.

Step 11 : now do step 5 once.

Step 12 : ch 1 & turn, slst to the 2nd, chain 11.

Step 13 : slst to the last 2 stitches.

Step 14 : Your lantern is ready!!!
