Christmas Mini Stocking Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very simple and easy Christmas ornament as well we can make it as a big stocking too.

So without further delay, as Christmas is around the corner, we will do this crochet.

Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

 Step 1 : Magic ring, followed by 6 HDCs.

Step 2 : R1 : Pattern : 2 HDCs in each.(total 12 stitches)

Step 3 : R2 : Pattern : 2 HDCs, 1 HDC, 2HDCs,... till end of row.(Total 18 stitches)

Step 4 : R3-7 : Repeat step 3 with red for 5 row.

Step 5 : now for the heel part , do 1 HDC in each for 12 stitches for 3 rows.ch 1 & cut off yarn.

Step 6 : slst the white part together. It will take 6 slst .

Step 7 : R8 : Pattern: continue doing with red 1 HDC on each of the 18 stitches.1 HDC on each of the 3 stitches, 2 HDCs in the same corner stitch,  1 HDC on each of the 8 stitches of white. 2 HDCs in the corner stitch & 1 HDC on each of the remaining 3 stitches. 

Step 8 : slst to the 1st HDC.

Step 9 : continue same 1 HDC in each for 7 more rows.

Step 10 : Do 1 HDC on each for 2 rows with white.

Step 11 : slst till u reach the heel part, do ch 11 and slst to the same space.

Step 12 : slst till u reach the other side.

Step 13 : You can use this and make bigger size too.

Step 14 : Your mini Christmas mini stocking is ready!!!
