Kuwait Flag Crochet(New version)

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see the simple and easy version of Kuwait Flag. I had done one earlier. As I had a finger swell and due to the black yarn, it wasn't clear. So let's make it the same way as Palestine and flag type. This would be really easy to make. so without delay, let's make it. This week there is National Day and Liberation Day celebration in Kuwait. So let's make this and use as of your liking.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3.5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 :  Slipknot, followed by ch16

Step 2 : R1: 1 Sc on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : Continue doing 1 SC on the remaining chains until the last ch.

Step 4 : Change to black in the last. ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 : R2: do 1 SC in each of the n3xt 2 stitches. 

Step 6 : continue doing 1 SC in the remaining 13 stitches with red.

Step 7 : R3: ch 1 & turn.

Step 8 : continue doing 1 SC with Red in the 12 stitches. Change to black in the last 3 stitches.

Step 9 : repeat step 8 with WHITE instead of red. Continue with black in 3 stitches for 3 rows.

Step 10 : repeat one row of GREEN instead of white.

Step 11 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 12 : 1 SC of black in 2 stitches. and 13 stitches of Green.

Step 13 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 14 : 1 SC in 14 stitches with Green.

Step 15 : 1 SC with black.

Step 16 : ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 17 : Kuwait Flag is ready!!!
