Potted Hanging Plant Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a beautiful home decor. I love having plants at home. But, unfortunately, I couldn't buy any. So thought of crocheting few plant hangers at home,which is nothing but a very simple potted plant hanger crochet. I have tried to make it simple and easy for you. Hope it turns out easy to make such and decorate your home or your friend's home as a gift from you. Handmade is always best. Hope you too get the joy of making such.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : slipknot, followed by chain 4.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st ch to form a loop.

Step 3 : R1: Pattern: 10 DCs in that loop. slst at the end.

Step 4 : R2 : Pattern : 2 DCs in each stitch. Slst at end.

Step 5 : R3 : Pattern: 2 DCs, 1 DC, 2 DCs,... till end of row. slst at the end.

Step 6 : R4 : Pattern : 1 Dc in each post till end of row. Slst at the end.

Step 7 : R5-7 : Pattern: 1 DC in each till end of row. Slst at end.

Step 8 : ch 31, add a stitch marker, ch 30, slst to the opp.

Step 9 : slst till you reach the other side.

Step 10 : ch 30, slst to the stitch marked position, ch 30 , slst to the opp side.

Step 11 : For the brown part, repeat steps 1-5 once.

Step 12 : for leaf part: make slipknot, attach to one of the post. 

Step 13 : ch 15 , make popcorn stitch, slst to the next 5 chs.

Step 14 : Repeat step 13 till end of row.

Step 15 : Add flowers too and glue them  on the brown part. 

Step 16 : Your home decor is ready!!!!
