Travel Pouch/Purse Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. How are you all? Hope doing good. Hope all will be in vacation mode. Yes, we too are. As it is said, I needed a pouch to organize my charging cables, which would be really messed up and tangled, which would be hard to find the particular gadget I need. Next is that I didn't want to buy any from outside. So came up with an idea to crochet a pouch and thought it would be a great use to all. Try this today and I am sure you will be happy as it is handmade.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by the number of chains you need. Length is as per your wish. I did 54 chains.

Step 2 : 1 HDC on the 2nd ch from hook, till end of row.

Step 3 : continue doing 1 HDC in each till end of row.

Step 4 : Do for the number of rows you need.

Step 5 : I did 28 rows.

Step 6 : For the pockets: slipknot, followed by chains, in multiples of 3+1

Step 7 : 1 SC on the 2nd ch from hook and continue 1 SC on each till end of row.

Step 8 : ch 3, skip 2 sts, slst on the 3rd st.

Step 9 : Repeat step 8 till end of row.

Step10 : ch 5 & turn, each time you go for a new row and slst to the previous slst.

Step 11 : Repeat the same pattern till end of row.

Step 12 : do 1 SC in each ch 3 space, followed by a slst on the previous slst.

Step 13 : Repeat till end of row.

Step 14 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 15 : Do 2 sets of this.

Step 16 : Sew the 2 sets as per need, with pockets and without pockets too.

Step 17 : Do 1 row of HDC in front loop only.

Step 18 : for 2 rows do 1 HDC in each till end of row.

Step 19 : Repeat step 17 once.

Step 20 : Do 5 rows of 1 HDC on each .

Step 21 : ch 1, cut off yarn & sew ends.

Step 22 : For the sides: slipknot and do slst to the side, ch 4, slst to the other side, slst to the next st.

Step 23 : 1 HDC on the 4 sts, slst to the side.

Step 24 : Repeat the step till the end.

Step 25 : do for the other side too.

Step 26 : Your cute Purse is ready!!

Step 27 : for the cables you can do the cord holder.
