Christmas Swirl Ornament Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very easy and a simple ornament, swirl ornament crochet. It is a quick project and enjoy it. 

So without much delay let's dive in.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 4mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : slipknot, followed by ch 16. You can add or less chains depending on your desired length.

 

Step 2 : 1 SC on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : continue making 1 SC on each of the 12 chains.

Step 4 : make 2 SCs in the last chain. Now you will have a total of 15 SCs.

Step 5 : ch 1 & turn. Increase 1 stitch in the start and skip 1 stitch in the last.

Step 6 : You need to add 1 extra SC in the tail side. Decrease 1 stitch in the opposite side.

Step 7 : continue making the same pattern for the number of rows needed.

Step 8 : If you are making for candy ornament stop with 8 rows alone.

Step 9 : I did a total of 34 rows.

Step 10 : slst the front loop & back loop together.

Step 11 : sew the top, flip and add the stuffing.

Step 12 : sew the bottom, add a hanging, bead and a tassel.

Step 13 : Your beautiful hanging is ready!!!!
