Hair Tie Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This one I made for my daughter. She was asking for Kuwait Flag colored hair tie. So made this for her. If you want to sell, this would be a best option. And if you are familiar with the basic stitches, this would be a great option.

So anyone can try it, if you are familiar with the basic stitches.

So please don't forget to give a try.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 2mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Brooch Pin(If needed)

5. Beads

6. Hair Tie

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Round around your pinky finger 3 times

Step 2 : slst to form a loop.

Step 3 : 12 scs in that loop

Step 4 : ch 2

Step 5 : 2 hdcs in each stitch. slst to the 1st hdc

Step 6 : ch 2.

Step 7 :Pattern:( 2 hdc, 1 hdc)* repeat till end of row

Step 8 : slst to the 1st hdc.

Step 9 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

 

Step 10 : Add flowers 

 

Step 11 : For Leaves: slipknot, followed by ch 7.

Step 12 : slst on the 2nd ch from hook, followed by 1 sc in the next ch, 1 hdc in each of the next 2 chains, 1 sc on the next , 1 slst in the next, followed by ch 1.

Step 13 : repeat step 12 on the other side.

 

Step 14 : You can either use as a hair tie or as a brooch.

 

Step 15 : Sew with a hair tie & add a bead too.

 

Step 16 : Your Cute hair tie/brooch is ready!!!
