Heart Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very easy 2 minute crochet gift idea,Heart. You can use this pattern as a pin for your scarf, earring, bookmark, chain, bracelet,etc,... As valentine say is nearing, you can make as many gifts as you want. With heart you can even make a garland or wall decor. I am sure you will be happy with the end result. You can enjoy making this with your kid too if they have the basic crochet knowlege.

So anyone can try it, if you are familiar with the basic stitches.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

hook : 3mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Scarf Pin

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic ring/Magic circle.

Step 2 : 3 trs.

Step 3 : 3 dcs.

Step 4 : ch 1, 1 tr,ch 1.

Step 5 : Now make the other half in reverse. Repeat step 3 , step 2 in the same order.

 

 Step 6 : ch 2 & slst in that ring.

Step 7 : Pull the tail end and your heart is ready.

 

 You can sew the top yarn to a key chain ring, and use it as a key chain.

Step 8 : For scarf pin, bend the pin a little and insert in the heart.

Step 8 : For earrings, you can attach the rings and your ring is ready!!!

 

 

Step 9 : For bookmark. Repeat steps 1 to 7.

Step 10 : ch 35 (I did for a small book). You can increase the chains as per your need.

Step 11 : slst on the 3rd ch from hook.

Step 12 : make 3 petal flower. (ch 3, 2 dcs, ch3 & slst in same space)*3.

Step 13 : Your bookmark is ready too!!!

 

Not only this, you can make as many things as you want with this simple heart.
