Ramadan Hanging Decoration Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. As Ramadan is nearing, many might have started to decorate their homes, including me. I was thinking to crochet this long back, but time didn't permit. This time I made it. This took around 4 hours for me, as I had to stop now and then for kids work. For you it would be really early I guess. Anything homemade and taking time would really give happiness. So here is the Ramadan decoration. Hope you like it and share with your friends and family.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 3mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by 4 chains. I did 18 chs. You can use magic ring too.

Step 2 : slst to the 1st chain to form a loop.

Step 3 : R1: ch 3(considered as 1st Dc).

Step 4 : 3 more Dcs, ch 3, 4 Dcs, ch 3, 4 Dcs, ch 3, slst.

Step 5 : R2: For corners do(4 Dcs, ch 3, 4 Dcs), for joining ch 2.

Step 6 : R3: For corners do(4 Dcs, ch 3, 4 Dcs), for joining ch 2, 4 Dcs in ch 2 space.

Step 7 : Repeat step 6 for the number of rows needed.

Step 8 : Now make 5 Dcs, sc in the mid of 4 Dcs.

Step 9 : 7 Dcs, Sc in the mid, 7 Dcs, Sc in the mid, 10 Dcs, Sc in the mid,7 Dcs, Sc in the mid, 7 Dcs, Sc in the mid,5 Dcs, ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 10 : Add tassel.
