V Stitch Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This is a beginner level. Crochet stitches are many. Each gives each texture. And each stitch gives an end result, which would look really beautiful. Today we will look into one such stitch, which is called V stitch. This is one row repeat stitch, which is same throughout the project. So let's get started.

So please don't forget to give a try.

Crochet Terminology:

Things needed:

1. Yarn

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chains in multiples of 3. I did 18 chs. You can increase as per your need.

Step 2 :1 Dc on the 3rd ch from hook.

Step 3 : ch 1

Step 4 : 1 Dc in the same chain.

Step 5 :This gives a V shape.

Step 6 : skip 2 chs, do (1 Dc, ch 1, 1 Dc) in the same chain.

Step 7 : Repeat step 6 till end of row.

Step 8 : ch 2 & turn the project.

Step 9 : Now make (1 Dc, ch 1, 1 Dc)* in each ch 1 space.

Step 10 : Repeat step 9 till end of row.

Step 11 : in the last chain make 1 Dc.

This project I did in 5 mm hook. You can change hook size as per your need.As well increase the height of your project.
