Tamil alphabet எ Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today is the continuation of Tamil series, which is alphabet எ . Hope you find it easy . Use the same stitches I did, and you will surely love the end result.

Now let's start the project! 

For this project , the yarn & hook size are your preference. The bigger hook, bigger the size. I am using the normal size hook, which is 4 mm.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Hook :

4mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

 

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 16.

 

Step 2 : 5 Scs on the 2nd ch from hook.

 

Step 3 : 1 slst on the next ch.

 

Step 4 : 1 Sc on the next 2 chains.

 

Step 5 : Sc2Tog

 

Step 6 : Sc2Tog

 

Step 7 : 1 Sc on each of the remaining chains.

 

Step 8 : slst on each of the 3 stitches.

 

Step 9 : ch 7

 

Step 10 : 1 slst on the 2nd ch from hook.

 

Step 11 : 1 slst on each of the remaining chains.

 

Step 12 : slst to the top stitch.

Step 13 : cut off & sew ends.

 

Step 14 : Your alphabet எ is ready !!!
