Qatar Flag crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today an another add on to the flag series, Qatar flag. In Kuwait, the GCC Sumit is gonna be held on December1st. So planned to do the flags of GCC Countries. I have already done Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and UAE. So I planned to do the remaining. 

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

hook : 

3 mm

 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : white : Slipknot, followed by ch 19. 

Step 2 :R1-4 : 1 Sc on each stitch till end of row. Ch 1 & turn.

Step 3 : R5 : 1 slst on the 1st stitch, (ch 3, 1 slst on the 2nd ch, 1 Sc on the 3rd ch, 1 slst on the next 2 stitches)* repeat till end of row.

Step 4 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 5 : Red : Slipknot, followed by ch 19.

Step 6 : R1-25: 1 Sc on each stitch till end of row. ch 1& turn.

Step 7 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 8 : Glue both together.

Step 9 : Qatar flag is ready!!!!
