Lip balm holder crochet

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This winter, I started using lip balm a lot, since my lips started chapping a a lot. So made this lip balm holder one for myself. 

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Print this Pattern

 

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

hook : 

3mm

 

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic Ring. 

Step 2 : R1 : 6 Scs on that ring.

Step 3 : R2 : 2 Scs on each stitch. Slst to the 1st Sc. Tot 12 Scs.

Step 4 : R3 : 1 Sc, 2 Scs,.. till end of row. Slst to the 1st Sc. Tot 18 Scs.

Step 5 : R4 : 1 Sc on each stitch back loop only. Tot 18 Scs.

Step 6 : R5-26 : 1 Sc on each stitch till end of row. Slst to the 1st Sc. Tot 18 Scs.

Step 7 : ch 63. Keep it aside.

Step 8 : Flower: Magic ring.

Step 9 : R1 : 6 Scs on that ring.

Step 10 : R2 : 2 Scs on each stitch. Slst to the 1st Sc. Tot 12 Scs.

Step 11 : R3 : 1 Sc on each stitch. Tot 12 Scs.

Step 12 : R4 :1 Sc, 2 Scs,.. till end of row. Slst to the 1st Sc. Tot 18 Scs.

Step 13 : ch 1, cut off.

Step 14 : ((Petals: ch 3, 3 dcs, ch 3, slst on the same stitch), slst on the next stitch)* on each stitch. Tot 18 Petals.

Step 15 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 16 : Add the green yarn thru inside from one end to another and slst to the other side.

Step 17 : cut off & sew ends.

Step 18 : Your holder is ready!!!

You can use this for either, lip balm, lipstick, ornament , etc.,
