Crochet alphabet keychain and Bagcharm

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a simple keychain/bagcharm with initials.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Hook : 

2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic ring.

 

Step 2 : R1 : 12 Dcs in that ring. Slst to the 1st Dc.

 

Step 3 : R2 : 2 Dcs on each stitch. Slst to the 1st Dc. Total 24 Dcs.

 

Step 4 : R3 : 1 Dc, 2 Dcs,... till end of row. Slst to the 1st Dc. Total 36 Dcs.

 

Step 5 : Ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

 

Step 6 : Repeat step 1 to 4 once.

 

Step 7 : Add letter J (as I was asked to do) on both the pieces.

 

Step 8 : Keep the wrong sides facing together.

 

Step 9 : R4 : (1 Sc, ch 1)* end stitch, till end of row. Slst to the 1st Sc.

 

Step 10 : Ch 5 for keychain & ch 33 for bag charm.

 

Step 11 : slst to the same space.

 

Step 12 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

 

Step 13 : Your keychain/bagcharm is ready!!!
