Hairband crochet Kuwait special

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This is for the Kuwait National & Liberation Day, which falls on 25th & 26th of February. I made this hairband for my daughter. Hope you like it too.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Hairband

5. Beads

Hook : 

2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 8.

Step 2 : 1 Sc on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : 1 Sc on each ch till end of row.

Step 4 : ch 1 & turn.

Step 5 : repeat steps 2 to 4 till the no. of rows needed. I did a total of 82 rows.

Step 6 : ch1, cut off a lengthy yarn & sew with the hairband inside.

Step 7 : Make a rose.

Step 8 : Make the bottom leaf part. Magic ring. r1:10 hdcs in that ring.

Step 9 : Slst to the 1st hdc.

Step 10 : r2 : 2 hdcs on each. Tot 20 hdcs

Step 11 : r3 : 1 hdc on each . Tot 20 hdcs.

Step 12 : ch 5 , 1 slst on the 2nd ch, 1 Sc on the next, 1 hdc on the next, 1 dc on the next , skip 1 st and slst on the next 2 sts.

Step 13 : repeat step 12  till the end of row.

Step 14 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 15 : Glue the leaf & rose together.

Step 16 : Add the beads, sew with the hairband.

Step 17 : Your hairband is ready!!!!
