Wall hanging book shelf crochet


 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This one I did for myself. I used textured stitch named crunch stitch. It took quite a long time, as I had some personal works on hand. This hanging shelf was my long time wish. 

Hope you like this.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

 

Crochet Terminology:


sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
tr- treble crochet 
hdc- half double crochet
ch- chain
 

Things needed:


1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

4. Wooden sticks


Hook : 
5mm

Written Pattern:
Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 44+2.
Step 2 : 1 hdc on the 2nd ch from hook till end of row. Ch 1 & turn
Step 3 : 1 hdc on each till end of row. Ch1 & turn
Step 4 :  1 hdc on the 1st st & slst on the next st. Keep repeating till end of row. ch 1 & turn
Step 5 :  repeat step 4 for the no. of rows needed.
Step 6 : 2 rows of hdc on each stitch.
Step 7 : Single with the stick & add chains for hanging. ch 1 & cut off
Step 8 : Single crochet with the stick, ch 11 for each side . Slst to the other side.
Step 9 : Do picot stitch for edging.
Step 10 : Now your hanging shelf is ready!!!!
