Granny Stitch Easter Basket Crochet

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. This is a very simple and easy granny square version. I made a basket simply keeping few accessories. Then I felt like we can use for Easter eggs too. Hope you like it too.

So without further delay let's get into the project.

Print this Pattern

 

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Things needed:

1. Yarns

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Hook : 

3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 4. slst to the 1st ch to form a loop.

Step 2 : (3 Dcs, ch 2)*4 times. Slst

Step 3 : (3 Dcs, ch 2, 3 Dcs)*4 corners. Slst.

Step 4 : (3 Dcs, ch 2 , 3 Dcs )* for the 4 corners & 3 Dcs in the remaining cluster space. Slst.

Step 5 : Repeat pattern until you reach the no. of rows needed.

Step 6 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 7 : Repeat steps 1 to 6 , four more times.

Step 8 : Keep the granny squares together & Sc.

Step 9 : add 1 row of Sc on top and then make 33 or chs of your choice on either sides for holding.

Step 10 : your basket is ready!!!!
