Tamil Alphabet ஐ Crochet

 Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. One of our subscriber family previously requested for tamil alphabet series. I did few, later due to some commitments I couldn't continue. Now I have started the series.

Today we will alphabet ஐ.

Now let's start the project! 

For this project , the yarn & hook size are your preference. The bigger hook, bigger the size. I am using the normal size hook, which is 3mm.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Hook :

3mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 49.

Step 2 : Slst on the 2nd ch from hook. 1 slst on each of the next 7 chs. 

Step 3 : Slst to the 1st st to form a loop.

Step 4 : slst on the next ch.

Step 5 : Sc2Tog on the next 2 chs.

Step 6 : repeat step 5 once.

Step 7 : ch 4 

Step 8 : 1 Sc on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th chs.

Step 9 : slst on the same st.

Step 10 : 1 Sc on each of the next 2 chs.

Step 12 : repeat step 5 twice.

Step 13 : slst on the next ch.

Step 14 : 1 Sc on each of the 2 chs.

Step 15 : step 5 once.

Step 16 : 1 slst on the next ch.

Step 17 : 1 Sc on each of the 8 chs.

Step 18 : 2Scs on each of the next same ch.

Step 19 : 1 Sc on the next ch.

Step 20 : step 18 twice

Step 21 : 1 Sc on each of the 4 chs.

Step 22 : 2 Scs on each of the 2 chs.

Step 23 : 1 Sc on the 3 chs.

Step 24 : slst on the 7 sts.

Step 25 : ch 4, 1 Sc on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th chs.

Step 26 : slst on the same space.

Step 27 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 28 : Tamil alphabet is ready!!!!
