Tamil Alphabet ஒ Crochet

 

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. As a continuation of the tamil series, today we will see how to crochet ஒ.

 Now let's start the project! 

For this project , the yarn & hook size are your preference. The bigger hook, bigger the size. I am using the normal size hook, which is 3mm.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

tr- treble crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

 

Hook :

3mm

Things needed:

1. Yarn

2. Darning Needle 

3. Scissors

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 55.

Step 2 : 1 slst on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 : 1 slst on each of the next 7 chs.

Step 4 : slst to the 1st st to form a loop.

Step 5 : 1 slst on the next ch.

Step 6 : sc2tog on the next 2 chs.

Step 7 : repeat step 6 once.

Step 8 : 1 sc on each of the next 2 chs.

Step 9 : step 6 & 7.

Step 10 : step 8

Step 11 : step 6

Step 12 : step 8

Step 13 : sc3tog on the next 3 chs.

Step 14 : step 13 once.

Step 15 : slst 

Step 16 : 1 slst on the next 4 chs.

Step 17 : skip 3 chs & do 1 slst on the next ch.

Step 18 : 1 slst on each of the 5 chs.

Step 19 : step 13 twice.

Step 20 : 1 slst on each of the remaining chs.

Step 21 : ch 1, cut off & sew ends.

Step 22 : Your alphabet is ready!!!
