3D Star Crochet

 


Hi friends, welcome back. Today let's see how to crochet a star, which has a 3D look. You can use it for garland or for any home decor. Let's start now.

 

Print this Pattern

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
 tr- treble crochet 
hdc-half double crochet
ch- chain

hook : 2mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : First do a magic ring. Ch 2 , its considered as 1st DC.

Step 2 : Now do 14 more DCs in that ring. So a total of 15 DCs.

Step 3 :  Once done, pull the tail end of yarn.

Step 4 : Slipstitch to the 2nd chain of the 1st 2 chains.

Step 5 : Now chain 6.

Step 6 : 1 SC on the 3rd stitch from hook.

Step 7 : 1 HDC on the next stitch.

Step 8 : 1 DC on the next stitch.

Step 9 : 1 Tr on the next stitch.

Step 10 : Now skip 2 stitches & slipstitch on the 3rd stitch.

Step 11 : Repeat steps 5 to 10, 4 more times.

Step 12 : slipstitch & join.

Step 13 : As we are going to join 2 stars, please repeat steps 1 to 11.

Step 14 : Now join both stars together by doing 1 SC together. Never miss one.

Step 15 : Keep a small opening for the stuffing & sew once stuffing is done.

Step 16 : Star crochet ready!!!
