Towel Hanging Crochet

Hi friends, welcome back. Today let's see how to crochet, a towel hanger / towel holder. For this project you can use ring type, may it be a bangle, big ring, hair tie etc., here I used an old bangle. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
ch- chain
hook: 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, do a slipstitch around the bangle you are going to work with.

Step 2 : ch3, considered as 1st DC.

Step 3 : Continue doing DCs around the bangle. The count depends on the property you use. For me it                  took around 55 DCs.

Step 4 : Slst to the 3rd chain of the 1st 3 chains.

Step 5 : Ch 2.

Step 6 : 1 SC on each stitch, total 8.

Step 7 : ch 1, turn your project & continue doing 1 SC on each stitch. We would need a total of 20 rows.

Step 8 : On the 21st row, we will be doing DCs. So ch 1, followed by 1 DC in each of the 4 stitches.

Step 9 : Again do 1 DC in the same 4th stitch.

Step 10 : ch 2.

Step 11 : Now do the reverse pattern , 2 DCs in the 5th stitch , followed by 1 DC in each till end of row.

Step 12 : Ch 1, cut off yarn & sew.

Step 13 : Sew a button.

Step 14 : Towel hanging crochet is ready!!!
Hope it was easy to understand and crochet. Please share your valuable comments which would help me a lot.
