Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. How are you all? Hope doing good. 

This heart keychain is very simple & easy one to make. It was my first make, when I started learning crochet. Thought to surprise my hubby by doing it. It was during Valentine's day. He really loved it. 

I was patting myself, & that was the starting point for all projects.

As a beginner , anyone can do it. With simple crochet steps. I am using it personally too. If you are a beginner, please use a stitch marker or some scrap yarn, so that you don't miss your count. Hope you too enjoy crocheting. So let's start.

Hook size - 3.5mm 

Crochet Terminology:

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

ch- chain

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 15.

Step 2 : 3 SCs on the 2nd ch from hook.

Step 3 :  1 SC in each of the next 5 chains.

Step 4 :  Skip 2 chains & do a SC in the 3rd chain. This skip of  2 chains will make the V shape for the                 heart.

Step 5 :  1 SC in each of the next 4 chains.

Step 6 : 3 SCs in the last same chain.

Step 7 :  1 SC in the next 5 stitches.

Step 8 :  Now do (1 SC, 2 chs, 1 SC ) in the next same stitch.

Step 9 :  1 SC in the next 5 stitches.

Step 10 : Now use a stitch marker, to keep track of your count. 

Step 11 : Do 2SCs each in next 3 stitches.

Step 12 : 1 SC in each of the next 4 stitches.

Step 13 :  Do Step 4.

Step 14 :  1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 15 :  2 SCs in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 16 :  1 SC in each of the next 6 stitches.

Step 17 :  Follow Step 8.

Step 18 :  1 SC in each of the next 6 stitches.

Step 19 :  1 SC in that stitch  marked position.

Step 20 : 1 SC in the next stitch

Step 21 :  Now do (2 SCs, 1 SC ) in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 22 :  1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 23 :  Follow Step 4.

Step 24 :  1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 25 :  Follow Step 21.

Step 26 :  1 SC in each of the next 6 stitches.

Step 27 : Follow Step 8.

Step 28 : 1 SC in next 7 stitches.

Step 29 :  Now do ( 2 SCs, 1 SC, 1 SC) in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 30 :  1 SC in the next stitch.

Step 31 : Skip 2 stitches & 1 SC in the 3rd stitch.

Step 32 : 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches.

Step 33 : Follow Step 29.

Step 34 : 1 SC in each of the next 7 stitches.

Step 35 : Follow Step 8.

Step 36 : 1 SC in each of the next 8 stitches.

Step 37 : I have already made one piece before hand, now lets join both together, by keeping the wrong                 sides of the hearts together & do 1 SC in each stitch.

Step 38 : As its a keychain, when we reach the top V space, let's do 21 chs n slipstitch in the same                         space & continue doing the SC for the sides.

Step 39 : Put the toy stuffing in & close it using SC.

Step 40 :  Your Heart Keychain is ready!!!
