Simple Leaf Crochet

   

Hi friends, welcome back. Today we will see a very simple leaf pattern. Its so easy to make. A simple pattern for beginners. You can add with any flowers.  Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch 

sc- single crochet 

dc- double crochet 

hdc- half double crochet

tr- treble crochet 

ch- chain

hook : 4mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 12.

Step 2 : Slipstitch on the 2nd chain from the hook.

Step 3 : 1 SC on the next chain.

Step 4 : 1 HDC on the next chain.

Step 5 : 1 DC  on the next chain.

Step 6 : 1 Tr in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 7 : Now follow the reverse , 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC, 1 slipstitch.

Step 8 : Chain 1.

Step 9 : Now we need to do the other side of the leaf. Repeat the pattern 1 slipstitch, 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 1 Tr, 1 Tr, 1 Tr, 1 Dc, 1 HDC, 1 SC, 1 Slipstitch. 

Step 10 : ch 1 , cut off yarn & sew. Simple leaf is ready!!!
