Feather Crochet

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. This feather I planned to do for the dreamcatcher hanging. But unfortunately couldn't finish by that time.

So as I said, you can use it for any of your projects. It will be really cool and awesome.

Today let's see feather crochet. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:
ch- chain sc- single crochet dc- double crochet tr- treble crochet hdc- half double crochet slst- slip stitch hook: 3mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by ch 14.

Step 2 : Slipstitch on the back loop of the 2nd chain from hook for 6 chains.

Step 3 : chain 7 for other part of the feather.

Step 4 : chain 3 considered as 1st DC.

Step 5 : 2 DCs on the 4th chain from hook.

Step 6 : 1 Dc in each of the next 3 chains.

Step 7 : Next do DC3Tog.

Step 8 : 1 Tr in the middle.

Step 9 : Now do the reverse, DC3Tog, 1 DC in the next 3 chains, 3 DCs in the last stitch.

Step 10 : Repeat step 8.

Step 11 : Continue the same pattern to the length needed.

Step 12 : Once you wish to decrease, instead of 3 DCs in each , decrease 1 DC each time.

Step 13 : Keep doing DC Together. chain 2 , cut off yarn & sew.

Step 14 : Feather is ready!!!

Hope it was easy to understand and crochet. I am trying my best to keep it myself. Leave me a comment for any assistance.
