Mini Basket Crochet

 

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog. As Easter was nearing, thought of doing this mini basket.

I love miniature stuff. It looks cute too. I have quite a lot of miniature stuffs at home. I enjoyed making this personally. Kept few mini rabbits, my daughter's toys in them for taking pictures.

I hope you too will enjoy making them. Its beginner's friendly. Just know the basic crochet stitches & you can do this easily. Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 2.5mm

Written Pattern: 

Step 1 : slipknot, followed by chain 4.

Step 2 : Slst to the 1st chain to form a loop.

Step 3 : ch 2, considered as 1st DC.

Step 4 : 11 more DCs, total 12 DCs. Slst to the 1st

Step 5 : ch 2. Next row Pattern : 2 DCs in each , till end of row. slst to the 1st

Step 6 : ch 2 Next row Pattern : 1 DC, 2 DCs ,... , till end of row. slst to the 1st.

Step 7 : ch 2 . Next row Pattern : 1 DC in each back stitch , till end of row. slst to the 1st.

Step 8 : Repeat step 7, till the height you desire for.

Step 9 : Do reverse SC for 1 row. Do I Cord. Sew it & decorate with flowers.

Step 10 : Basket is ready!!!
