Sleeping Mask Crochet

Hi friends,assalamu alaikkum. Today too we will see a simple and easy sleep mask crochet. It's used as a travel accessory. So let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

slst- slip stitch

hook: 4mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Slipknot, followed by chains 25.

Step 2 : Row 1 : 1 Sc on the 2nd chain from hook. Continue doing 1 Sc on each stitch , till end of row.

Step 3 : chain 1 & turn.

Step 4 : Row 2-5: Pattern : 2 SCs in the first and last stitches, 1 Sc in the middle stitches.

Step 5 : Row 6 - 12 : Pattern : 1 SC on each stitch till end of row. Chain 1 & turn.

Step 6 : Row 13 : Pattern : 2 SCs, 1 Sc in next 9 stitches, 2 SCs. chain 1 & turn.

Step 7 : Row 14 : Pattern : 2 SCs, 1 Sc in next 7 stitches, 2 SCs. chain 1 & turn.

Step 8 : Row 15 : Pattern : 1 Sc in each stitch till end of row. chain 1 & turn.

Step 9 : Row 16 : Pattern : 2 SCs, 1 Sc in next 5 stitches, 2 SCs. chain 1 & turn.

Step 10 : Row 17 : Pattern : 2 SCs, 1 Sc in next 3 stitches, 2 SCs. chain 1 & turn.

Step 11 : chain 1 & cut off yarn.

Step 12 : Now attach yarn in the 13th stitch from left. chain 1.

Step 13 : Row 13 : Pattern : 2 SCs in the same and next stitch, 1 Sc in next 9 stitches, 2 SCs. chain 1 & turn.

Step 14 : Repeat steps 7 to 10 once.

Step 15 : chain 1 and turn. 1 Sc on each stitch, around the full mask.

Step 16 : Add another row of contrasting color.

Step 17 : Add elastic or ribbon of your choice.

Step 18 : Sew a cloth too.

Step 19 : Your sleep mask ready!!!
