Net Bag Crochet

Hi friends, Assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a very beautiful and easy crochet, which is a net bag. So let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : slipknot, followed by 39 chains.

Step 2 : Patt : 1 DC, chain 2, skip 2 chains, 1 DC. chain 2, skip 2 chains, 1 DC, ... continue till end of row.

Step 3 : R1 : 1 DC on the 6th chain from hook.

Step 4 : ch 2, skip 2 chains, 1 Dc on the 3rd chain.

Step 5 : Repeat step 2 till end of row.

Step 6 : R2 : chain 5 & turn. Repeat step 2 till end of row.

Step 7 : Repeat step 2 for 4 more rows.

Step 8 : we will be repeating the same pattern, around the rectangle. In the corners we will be skipping 1 DC and do 1 DC in the next one.

Step 9 : Continue the same pattern till the no. of rows needed.

Step 10 : do 1 row of 1 SCs on each DC and 1 DCs in the chain 2 space.

Step 11 : now mark stitch markers for the handle part , by skip counting 5 stitches on either sides for handle part.

Step 12 : do 1 slst on each till the stitch marked position.

Step 13 : chain 33 for handle., slst the remaining and do the same for backside too.

Step 14 : Do 1 row of sc in each till end of row including the chains.

Step 15 : Do 1 row slst in each stitch.

Step 16 : cut off yarn & sew the ends.

Step 17 : Your net bag is ready to use!!!
