Beanie crochet for 6 to 12 months

Hi friends, assalamu alaikkum. Today we will see a simple and easy to crochet beanie. I have started the series for today as 6 to 12 months . Hope to continue for other ages too.

Let's get started.

Crochet Terminology:

sl st - slip stitch

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

hdc- half double crochet

ch- chain

hook : 5mm

Written Pattern:

Step 1 : Magic ring, followed by chain 1.

Step 2 :R1: 12 DCs in that ring.

Step 3 : slst to the 1st DC.

Step 4 : R2: ch 2, which is not considered as DC.Patt 2 DCs in each till end of row. slst to the 1st DC.

Step 5 : R3: ch 2, which is not considered as DC.Patt:1 DC, 2 DCs, 1 DC,... till end of row. slst to the 1st DC.

Step 6 : R4: ch 2, which is not considered as DC.Patt:1 DC, 1 DC, 2 DCs, 1 DC,... till end of row. slst to the 1st DC.

Step 7 : R5: 1 DC in each stitch till end of row. This is the length. So if we measure from the mid of the cap , it must be around 7 inches. So do 1 DC till 7 inches.

Step 8 : slst, ch 1, cut off yarn & sew. If you need, u can add a flower too. But I am keeping it simple.

Step 9: Your beanie is ready!!!!!
